The Unapologetic Journal

Real stories from the intersection of motherhood, ambition, and the courage to choose differently.

This is not a place for quick fixes or tidy answers.

It is a place for the real thing.

The stories I am still sitting with.
The lessons that arrived through stumbles rather than strategy.
The quiet revolutions that happened not because I had it all figured out,
but because I kept choosing, slowly, imperfectly, and on my own terms,
to build a life that was actually mine.

I write about career evolution and motherhood.
But underneath both of those things, I write about what it costs us to keep living a life
that was designed for someone else.
And what becomes possible the moment we stop.

If you have ever felt like you were failing at both, too ambitious to be fully present,
too devoted to your children to fully commit to your own dreams, this journal is for you.

You don't have to choose between the two.
You never did.

The life you want
is already possible.

Hi, fellow ambitious mamas!

I'm Annie.

When I was 31, I walked away from a corporate manager role, three months pregnant, in the middle of Covid, to build something of my own.

6 years, one miscarriage, three daughters, clients across continents, and a Virtual Assistant agency later…

I work from home, on my own terms, present for my girls in a way I never could have been before.

I know what it feels like to be good at your job and still feel like you are slowly disappearing inside it.

I'm here to help ambitious mothers build independent careers from the skills and expertise they already have — without burning out or starting from scratch.

Work from home. Set your own hours. Stop missing the small moments. Build income that doesn't depend on someone else's approval. Show your children what it looks like when a woman backs herself.

The life you want is already possible.

Let me show you what becomes possible when you stop waiting and have the right support.
